Introducing the Tronixpro Viper GT 4.5m!
I took this beauty out at Beesands Beach in South West Devon hoping for some Plaice action…
The cast was surprisingly effortless and a gentle overhead lob went out nicely!, the blank is stiff right through to halfway up the tip section, the white section of the tip is very sensitive to the smallest of bites but still sits nicely in the tide.
I was very lucky to catch a good sized Plaice first cast on the viper, the retrieve was effortless and I felt that the rod was powerful enough to cope with anything that swims!
The Viper retails around the £100 mark and for the money I don’t think you can go wrong , I’m testing the 4.2m Viper next and I think that it will be a good estuary/Bass rod.
I’m still getting used to the length of the 4.5m Viper but I’m giving it a big thumbs up!
Always nice to Christen a new rod with your target species….
